Leona has been teaching her own Art and Craft Workshops for Adults & Children in London for 12 years.
Leona is DBS checked, Insured, First Aid appointed and has a Safeguarding Certificate. All Facilitators and Assistants have Enhanced DBS certificates.
Leona
Creator of Artists Resource & Lead Facilitator
Leona created Artists Resource in 2011 with the Mission “To bring people together, to nurture Creativity and facilitate Transformation – for the benefit of the individual and the community.” She started with one small Art club in North London and in just a couple of years had grown to teaching in Schools every day and hosting Art Parties and Classes at the weekend.
In the last few years, Leona provided Art workshops for the England football team and BAFTA and most recently for the Natural History Museum.
Leona has a strong background in material processes and techniques, having a degree in Applied Arts. Prior to setting up Artists Resource, Leona worked for a Art & Craft company, managing concession stands in Harrods, Hamleys and UK Trade Fairs. She also made Mosaic Murals for School Playgrounds with a local Artist. Leona has her own Sculptures and Mosaic Signs for Public Artworks in Mile End (E3), Muswell Hill (N10), various public and private sites in London, UK, Beverley Hills, California and Belize in Central America. You can commission Leona or purchase an Art print of her Collage Artworks. Leona also Mentors and Coaches Artists and Creative people at all stages of their career. Most recently, Leona launched a series of Online Beginners Courses where you can learn how to Draw, Paint and Craft from the comfort of your own home.
Elaina
Lead Art Party and Event Facilitator
Elaina is an Artist who is profoundly passionate about creativity and the impact that it has on health and wellbeing and is committed to supporting everyone in their creative abilities. She is particularly enthusiastic about working with children, and loves the explorative nature and wild expressiveness they bring to art. She loves to make, creating strange, creature-like objects out of odd bits and pieces of materials she comes across!
Holly
Lead Party and Event Facilitator
Holly has a love for all things bright, bold and colourful, spending most of her spare time in her studio creating colourful and humorous cartoons. Since graduating from Graphic Design, Holly has worked as an art director to inspire kids in schools to stay creative in their futures. She is deeply passionate about encouraging kids to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and believes Art is the best way to do this.
Jamine
Art Club and Art Party Assistant
A Fine Arts graduate, Jasmine has continued nurturing her creative passion by actively participating in artistic endeavours. With experience teaching children in primary schools and assisting in various art studios, she has developed a deep love for sharing her creative skills with young learners. Teaching children brings her immense joy and fulfilment, as she finds excellent happiness in seeing their creativity blossom.
Amy
Art Party and Event Assistant
Amy has a deep fascination in the natural world and studied Marine and Natural History Photography at University. Since then, she has been experimenting with portraying subjects such as plants, insects and landscapes through pen and ink, book making and photography. Amy feels that guiding others in their Artistic development inspires her and is one of the many enjoyable aspects of teaching art to young children.
